Chosen Solution I opened up my MBPr Late 2013 and saw that on both sides, near the fold (where the display folds) there are two similar looking elements. Please see attached image. One of the was loose and after placing it back in its place I no longer have any “no hardware found: wifi” issues. I know the airport card is next to the ram, so it can’t be that. Chosen Solution The screen before was completely smashed but the phone still functioned - I could receive calls etc. It turned the torch on itself, which I couldn’t turn off as the screen too damaged to function properly, and so the battery drained. I just replaced the back casing (original was bent so cracked a new screen already) and the LCD screen etc using youtube tutorials. Now when I plug the phone in to charge it makes a repeated charge noise (or vibrate if in silent mode) and gets hot....

Chosen Solution i bought a ‘broken’ ipod nano 7th gen and found that the previous owner had disconnected the battery ribbon cable from the logic board. can it be soldered back on? how? mark, replacing the battery should resolve it. Look at the teardown the black vinyl patches are insulators… if you’re missing any or if they are cut/scratched that could be the source. If this happens only when charging inspect the magsafe port for gunk....
