Chosen Solution I’m trying to upgrade the storage for my laptop but these things have got me stumped. They look like rivets or some kind of stamped screws and I don’t know how to remove them. The laptop is a Gigabyte Aero 5 xe4 Kylemngh, those are just stickers covering the actual screws. Apparently they’re glued down pretty well, so you either have to scrape them off or just puncture through them with what the video I saw claimed was a T5 screwdriver....

Chosen Solution I recently had a problem with a very noisy fan. Everyone was saying I should replace it due to it already being worn out. I ordered a new fan for replacement from powerbookmedic. Also, I disassembled, cleaned and greased my noisy fan with a thick grease (technical petrolatum). This has been more than 2 months ago and still going fine. I am starting to think it can last a lot longer, but even if not — I wouldn’t have any problem with repeating a greasing process again....

It is not possible to repoduce this error it comes and goes. A restart and hard reboot sometime work promt and sometime i have to wait a while, up to a day, and after restart it works again. I buy the OEM screens from multiple vendors. The repair goes fine and the touch is working fine, but a few days or a week later, they will be back. I am at the point where I don’t want to work on the 7+....
