Chosen Solution Damaging the battery conector on the logic board seems to be a common error people make when taking apart a iPod classic for the first time. Has anyone successfully reattached this to the logic board? can it be done? If so how? Where can I find someone to solder it for me? I know I can buy a new one but I’d like to save some money. It is a tricky repair since the connector is an SMD part....
Chosen Solution @sanddancer it will depend on what kind of network connection are you using. I’d start by performing a simple bandwidth connection check. Something like this this test should work. You will need a minimum of 2.5 Mbps and 7.5 Mbps for HD and > 12 Mbps for streaming on multiple devices. Let us know what you find out.
Chosen Solution Water drips from the left-hand side of the machine when the machine is running, and maybe afterwards. But I can’t see any obvious leak. There are several possible causes of this. It helps to have a look at a parts diagram - see the attachment in the seventh post of this thread (that’s for a G532 but the parts seem to be the same - I think it just has different wash programmes)....

When i push the power button nothing happens no fan spin. Chosen Solution iMac 21” (EMC: 2638) The iMac was connected to a UPS but through an extension cable, so not directly. So the iMac was running as usual when suddenly it went off, with all the other devices that are connected to the UPS. And I have no electricity in the room, the electricity breaker tripped, and the UPS is making that loud beep. After unplugging everything from UPS, and turning back electricity and etc… I found out that it was caused by the iMac....

One of the iPads charges very slowly and only in a certain connection. I bought it used with this problem. It otherwise functions normally with normal battery life and battery % display is normal. I have not opened it but there is no obvious sign of damage....

Chosen Solution I put my iPhone 6 Plus for charging before sleep and in the morning saw that the phone was dead. It did not boot up at all. Tried different chargers and cables, but still didn’t charge or show the Apple logo or turn on. I used a USB microscope to check the charging port and the following is what I saw. Chosen Solution My iPhone’s screen broke and when the LCD got replaced it’s disabled. I haven’t backed up the phone before. Is there a way to recover the files? Or is there a way to backup the current files before restoring it? Try running an update with the phone in recovery mode. To put a phone into recovery mode connect it to the computer first and then hold power + volume down until you get the iTunes recovery logo, ignore the screen going off and on and the apple logo appearing keep holding until you see the iTunes logo....

Chosen Solution So I went to the pool with my brand new iPhone x. I don’t know if we went over the dept of 3 feet maybe a little to 4 feet. And we were in the pool for almost 20 mins until the screen started to go green kind of glitch, it vibrated then it just shut off. Chosen Solution My ipod will turn on but when i go to swipe my finger accros it to unlock it it does not do it. kendra, your screen incorporates a digitizer, there are circuits in there that “sense” your touch. Those are not visible with the naked eye. If your touch screen (digitizer) does not work, it is most often caused by a broken circuit within the digitizer. So, even if your glass is not cracked, it is still most likely that the digitizer has failed....
