Chosen Solution I have repaired 2 iPhone 7’s this weekend. After each repair both phones refused to power on completely. After numerous testing procedures I have realized my new screen works perfectly with The proximity sensor, and front camera removed. I have tested numerous screens from different sources to have the same effect. Any ideas what would cause this? Thank you in advance Pat I have a feeling the front camera ribbon cable assemblies are getting damaged from not being pried properly....

Chosen Solution I dropped an earring in the empty washing machine and it went underneath the spinning agitator thing. Is there a way I can remove that to retrieve the earring??? Yours may just have a large square hole in the middle under the cap,the “special” tool you need is a socket extension bar (available at most department stores and hardware stores)or a very large flat screwdriver....

Chosen Solution Hi! I’ve followed iFixit’s guide on how to disassemble my PowerBook 12 to get to the logic board. So far, I’ve removed the keyboard and all other screws, but there is one piece left. It almost looks a like a small rivet, just with a hole in its center. It also has small fins/turbine wings on its outer circle. Is there any tool to remove such a “screw”? If your play pause button is playing up, slide the hold back and forwards a few times and try again. If this fails go to Alarms, Sleep Timer and set it to 15 minutes and wait!...

Chosen Solution How do you connect Sony Bluetooth headphones to the Samsung The Frame TV? It won’t show up in the Bluetooth devices on the TV no matter what I try. It’s a Samsung QA65LS03AAWXXY and the headphones are Sony WF-1000XM3. I’ve found the answer. Have to put the headphones in, hold both touch sensors for 7 seconds and that will put it in pairing mode.

Chosen Solution Attempt to open the machine to replace the belt or motor. bottom side- 4 Phillips head and two security screws -open the security screws by grasping with pointed nose pliers and rotating next step - 8 screws holding the canister onto the mixing deck open the door and with the mixing bin removed, you see the “shell” -remove all 8 screws holding this down pop the plastic connectors holding the top plastic shroud to the base -careful note*** the buttons and display are connected from the top to the base using a straight edge, I was able to remove the glue holding the plug for the top and then unplug the connector to free the top from the base there are 6 screws in the base holding the mixing plate down 2 are kind of hidden between the motor and the starter capacitor —further note, you need to remove the screw for the black, rectangular starter capacitor to access the mount screw underneath once the six screws are released, access to the underneath is fairly easy there are 4 round plastic “guides” at the corners -careful not to lose those you can now turn the deck to access the belts and perform the replacement

Chosen Solution Hi! I have an 24’ iMac from 2008. It started by freezing at startup screen, So I replaced the HDD thinking that was the fault, but the original HDD had no faults with it. Now when I try to boot it from a USB/CD it freezes at the loading circle ( Can’t enter the Resotre program) Tried an SMC Reset and also a NVRAM reset. Also tried with different RAM Sticks But it still freezes....

Chosen Solution I was taking my battery out of my iphone with the ifixit kit and i puntured the battery and it smoked and emitted sparks, after about 4 weeks im trying to take the battery out more the correct way applying heat to the backside. So my question is,is it still safe to remove the battery with out it exploding or anything? If the battery has already been damaged to the point of fumes I would proceed with extreme caution ....
