Chosen Solution I’ve got a HP Pavilion 15 p256nu and after all these years of ownership, it’s started to thermal throttle brutally, and dusting it out from the outside hasn’t been helping much. I’m guessing it’s down to degraded thermal paste. You’re going to want to remove the motherboard and unscrew the screws surrounding the end of the heatsink that is on top of the CPU. The heatsink should come off now and you can re-apply thermal paste....

We got a glass digitizer, and he decided to super glue it back on because we did not have any double sided tape. However, now the LCD is showing issues and I have no way of getting to it. It could have a separate board for the port, or it could be soldered directly to the motherboard. If it is on the motherboard, you should see if you can find a replacement motherboard. Soldering a new port directly onto the motherboard is difficult....

Chosen Solution My friend dropped his phone and the cellular will not pick up a network. His power button is also damaged and will not work so we could not turn off the phone. I did try to disconnect the battery first, but instead of using a plastic spudger I went and used a screw driver, (how stupid I know), to disconnect the battery connector. Before I pressed down onto the battery connector I touched the cellular antenna and battery connector and the it Sparked!...
