One side is frosted and the other has the fresnel surface which bends the light to offer a better image onto the frosted side....

Chosen Solution Just replaced my front LCD/Glass of my iPhone 4 and I cannot swipe to unlock! The weird part is that even after changing the flex cable from other iphone 6, the problem continues. Also, if I use the entire screen from this phone (along with all the components attached such as camera, mic etc) on other phone the front camera microphone works....

Chosen Solution My main cable stopped working, so I used backup fake cable. I used it couple of times, but one moment it didn’t charge anymore. I haven’t tried and don’t have any other cable. Could the dock connector or battery somehow got damaged or is it the charging circuit problem? You have to find a known-good cable, ask your friends or colleagues or just buy a new Apple original or MFi certified cable from a reputable source....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 6S which I recently replaced the screen for. The screen replacement went fine and the phone functioned normally with the phone getting signal normally. Then a couple of days later upon reinserting the SIM card again from my other phone, I got the ‘No Service’ in the top left corner even though there was signal in the area I was currently in. The IMEI is still showing when I type in *#06# so I think the Baseband CPU IC is not the issue....

Hi Ethan, You have two options really, the DIY route, you could open the device yourself, and clean the logic board of the phone with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush, and putting it in a small tub of isopropyl alcohol, this will displace any oil on the logic board, also clean all connectors for the parts etc....

Chosen Solution My friend accidentally separated the top part of my phone screen while the screws were still in place. How much damage has my phone taken roughly? I plan to unscrew, reattach, and rescrew tomorrow. It sounds like the top glass was separated from the frame; chances are the screen is damaged beyond repair. Your best bet is to replace the screen assembly as they are pretty inexpensive. You can find the repair guide here and the replacement part here....

Chosen Solution After changing my logic board and inserting all the screws and peices back into place I can’t seem to know how to put the speakers and microphone connectors back into place, I’m trying to not add force because they are really small and delicate pieces any suggestions? Chosen Solution So their is a 1 piece broken I half disc stuck in my Xbox one slim and the manually ejecy dosen’t work and i dont whant to tear it down so what do I do Use the force Luke. But seriously. You could try to get it out with a hook of some sort but, you would most likely cause even more damage. Either dissasemble it or pay someone to fix it for you ....

Chosen Solution Replaced DC-in and DC-to-DC boards. Have new battery and new power adapter. Powerbook will not start. It could be the new (cheap) adapter malfunctions. Last time I tried testing one, I discovered the circular metal thing on the outside is just a shield, whose purpose is to make poking multimeter probes at the tiny separated sections of the male pin about impossible without arcing! So, how can I test the adapter with a meter?...

Chosen Solution I want to isolate the component that is preventing an iPhone 4S from completing it’s GO/NO-GO checklist. It appears to enter a boot loop when plugged in. If there is an entry for the audio controller, does it have a red cross or a yellow exclamation mark next to it?
