Chosen Solution Hi, this phone suffered a major drop. Shows no signs of life but when plugging into iTunes it says that its in recovery mode and needs to be reset, but i need the data off of it. I found a short on the pp_1v8 circuit which is located almost where the phone got hit, so it makes sense, vcc_main seems fine to me, checking pp_gpu and pp_cpu i get low diode values, but checking for ground shorts on these two lines i get no beeps on the multi meter....

Chosen Solution while the clothes are drying i have a rattling noise like something got in the load, like a downy ball, but nothing in dryer. noise is random, with no rythym like is is rolling around in dryer but is similar in sound. it does not affect drying…yet @beth1915 does the rattle occurs only when you have a load in or will it rattle when the dryer runs empty. This could be the roller wheels that the bin rolls on ....
Chosen Solution I have a reconditioned 5s that may have had a battery replaced. It doesn’t have the adhesive pull tabs so I think it was jury rigged. Any suggestions for removing a stuck battery (other than heat)? Use a syringe filled with either alcohol or acetone and squirt it under the battery to loosen the glue. Make sure it is unplugged first. No smoking allowed! The film that comes behind screens blue or red colour i use that for everything dab it in alcohol and slide under wiggle it about loosens adhesive, I even use it to remove iPhone 7 home buttons lol...

But, if I shut it down or lose power for any amount of time, it won’t power up again until I do a “Revive” using Apple Configurator 2. As I understand it, revive resets the firmware on the T2 Security chip. Any ideas why this might be happening? Is there a coin battery inside that (if replaced) might fix this problem?...

Chosen Solution I have this game gear which I just replaced main board and audio capacitors for and everything seemed okay following an hour or so of play testing, however one of the buttons wasn’t always responsive - so I opened everything back up, cleaned the button contacts with some IPA and closed it up again. When I power it up now though, the power LED blinks on and off and the speakers are emitting a faint whine, changing its pitch in time with the LED’s flickering....
