Chosen Solution I recently upgraded the RAM in my mid 2010 27” iMac and now it just boots to a blank white screen. I’ve tried everything multiple times. Resetting the SMC, NVRAM, booting into recovery, booting off an external drive. Putting the original RAM back in it. Then trying all the above all over again. All I get is a white black screen!. Chosen Solution Have an iPhone 8 Plus that has me confused. Over the past few days, the haptic feedback has been intermittent at best. No water exposure or drops recently to correlate unfortunately. The part that has me stumped is the haptics start working when the phone is warm-hot (like charging), but as soon as the phone drops back to ambient temp or colder (say chilled in a fridge for a few minutes), the haptics work less and less as the temp drops....

No colours, just black and white. I am not aware of it being dropped. Assuming a screen and digitizer replacement? Chosen Solution Periodically my iPad Pro will start making sounds like it’s charging, not charging, charging. The charging indicator even stars showing that it is/isn’t, etc. Not plugged in at all I’m thinking there is a short or loose cable inside? It appears that the iPad believes that a charger is being connected/disconnected. This could be caused by a damaged charging port or a logic board issue. I would start by inspecting the charge port on the bottom of you device....

Try holding the button in a few seconds or push it in and out numerous times in case it is sticking. You could also pop into a local big box store and pick up a cheap compatible replacement remote....

I know that there are thread, shank, diameter, hardness and other differences among smart phone screws. But I’m wondering if it might be more practical to buy 20 or so of each screw type instead of a specific kit. That way, if you lose one or two, you don’t have to wait a week or two for new screws to be delivered....

The power and menu buttons both work, not sure about the volume buttons. The soft buttons on either side of the menu button do not work. It first turned off or so it seemed, then started a crackling/popping noise in the back near the power cord area. Then I began smelling burnt wire or plastic, I quickly unplugged it. After 30min, I opened it up (removed one back cover) and inspected the power mainboard. Nothing there was burnt up....
