Chosen Solution Helping a friend with his iMac (emc2639). It was using Mojave at the time, when it froze, so he did a hard restart. Got the Apple logo, but startup bar would only go half way. I tried all the usual troubleshooting (Disk Warrior, Disk Utility, Drive Genius), all come back saying drive is fine, but I still get the same result (startup bar goes halfway and stalls). Also will not boot into Recovery....
Chosen Solution Ipad when turned on, wants restore procedure but will not when connected to a computer, the restore procedure fails all the time. Brought it to Apple store and they want me to pay for a new one. Is there hope for this unit? You would need to give us more information on what happened to the iPad leading up to the issue. Try performing a hard reset (hold the Home Button and Power Button for 10 secs) and if data retention is not issue, try doing a DFU restore....

Chosen Solution I broke my J key cap when cleaning. The little clip on the back of the key fell ok and now the key is loose. Anything I can do (ie ordering a new key cap) or will I have to take the laptop in? I think it came loose while you were just typing on it. If so, it is covered by Apple by this Service program: https://www.apple.com/support/keyboard-s… If you really are sure you did knock it off, then it will probably require an upper case replacement as these new keyboard are almost impossible to work on....

Chosen Solution Had no problem until this week - my 1710 printer is not printing clearly, there are scuff marks that repeat in ‘white cloud’ shapes down the page in regular intervals. I have pulled out the printer catridge etc and have wiped out excess toner internally via the front panel. Is this problem caused by a piece of paper stuck on the rollers ?? The dell toner cartridge is hardly used, as new....

Chosen Solution I was replacing the power supply and the sensitive wire broke into pieces, now what do I do to replace that? There are 3 wires that go to the power supply, the other 2 have clips which make it easy to remove, but that small delicate wire just broke into pieces when I tried to take it out. Any sugesstions? Chosen Solution So, the title may be abbot confusing. Basically, I dropped my phone in the toilet and quickly took it out. I removed my case and SIM card, dried it off , then put it in rice for 36 hours as I read that was the right thing to do. However, after I did some more research I found the rice is not the correct option at all! I have already taken the phone out, and am seeing the effects as my battery is draining very fast....

Chosen Solution I am Facing white vertical line on laptop screen .. Hi, Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop’s HDMI port and see what the display is like. If it displays OK then you either have a faulty video cable, a faulty video cable connection at either end (motherboard or screen) or a faulty LCD screen. If it displays the same as the laptop’s screen, then you either have a GPU problem (most probably CPU as they are integrated) or a motherboard problem....
Chosen Solution When I turn it on I can hear the motor humming but the blades won’t spin, the lights work fine. The fan is only a little over a year old? Sounds like maybe the start capacitor has gone bad. The motor will jump but if the lil black start capacitor is bad the motor won’t start and run but to test this you can turn the fan on and then try starting it by spinning it kind hard with your hand....

Look on the side of the glove box or behind the ash tray for a sticker with a 5 digit code .If its not there then you will need to remove the radio to get the serial number and either call your Honda Dealer for a new number or post it back....
