Chosen Solution I replaced the battery following Ifixit repair guide and the phone works except for the Power/Sleep button. Phone will boot up when attached to usb charging cable and can be turned off or restarted from General menu. All other functions seem to work correctly except those requiring the use of the power/sleep button. I reassembled the phone twice just in case I had missed a connector with no luck....

Chosen Solution hi! i,m just asking this question because i,m still quit new in iphone motherboard repair. a guy dropped his phone and after the drop he had no wifi and no service. do i have to reball the wifi chip and the baseband? or is there maybe something i overlook? ofcourse it could always be something else, but i never had a phone that had no wifi and service....

Chosen Solution So, I have an iPhone 7 Plus, it’s a customer’s device, so the speed is crucial, but the issue I am facing is that the screen works perfectly. touch and everything, until I push the screen down, when the screen is open, it’s working, but boot loops the second it’s pushed down. Disconnect the top flex cable and seat the screen if it boots it will confirm a faulty top flex assembly and it will need to be replaced....

As each service provider uses slightly different methods for their voicemail service, you need to go to your landline phone service provider’s website and find the information on how to setup and run your voicemail service....

Chosen Solution I am asking for some guidance on how best go from an older OSX , for instance Maverick or Mountain Lion, which are often on my ebay purchased machines, to installing Mojave. I have a nice copy on Mojave on an external drive, but because its file system is APFS. It is tricky to get disc utility in an older OSX to reformat the drive in Recovery. The older OSXs did not even know about APFS....

Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a MBP A1989 on ebay. The screen is cracked (the screen is black), but the MBP works because I hear the chimes. Unfortunately, when I plug my external screen with HDMI cable via usb-c port (I used every usb-c port on mac), I see nothing on my external screen. All I can say is that keyboard works, if I press caps lock I have the green light ON....

Chosen Solution I just changed the ear speaker in my iPhone 6. The original one was fine until a month ago, then it went very silent and made some strange noises. Now with the new speaker the noises are gone but it is still very silent. In a louder environment it is almost impossible to hear. Please help… Sounds like it’s just bad parts. Chosen Solution I have never seen something like this in many years of repairing, diagnosing and building computers. Just had finished taking the mac apart, to clean the fans clogged with dust. Put everything back in place, pram battery as well, now the system won’t boot. It will turn on, the fans are starting, 3 out of 4 leds on, but no chime or image on the screen and no image on an external screen either....

Chosen Solution Today i’ve replaced my broken screen with a new one from ifixit. Everything went smoothly, but when i turned on the phone the cameras and ear speaker didn’t work. I’ve read everything i can find. The cables are Ok and IC is fine because when i put everything back to the old screen, everything is working perfectly. I’ve purchased only the screen, so i’ve moved speaker, camera and home button....
