Chosen Solution Hi, I recently did an Ipad 2 Wifi Digitizer and battery replacement. Initially it seemed everything was working fine, but after 2 or 3 minutes of being powered on it turns itself off. Initially I thought it might have a loose connection to the battery but that is definitely not the case, the board is screwed down ontop of the connector and it restarts just sitting by itself. Has anyone else seen this before?...

Everywhere I’ve read says anywhere between 24 hours to 48 hours is how long you should dry it out before turning it back on but their phones were submerged for minutes not mere seconds....

This means you will have to replace the complete display panel....
Chosen Solution How thick should the thermal pad be for the ps3 YLOD fix? Actually, it does matter how much thermal compound you use. You should apply enough to cover the top of the chips, but not enough to be squeezed out by the pressure of the heatsink clamps. This is vital, because too much thermal compound can cause problems due to the fact that it is conductive, and if it comes into contact with chips on the motherboard, you can end up with a $300 paperweight....

Chosen Solution I have a fine Braun 3 series shaver with batteries that have worn out. I am having trouble getting the side covers off so that I can get to the batteries. Does anybody have pointers? Chosen Solution A thin green line has appeared down the middle of my Macbook LCD screen that is about 2 pixels wide. Is it possible to fix it or does the screen need to be replaced? I agree with mjuergens but if possible, it would be worth testing on an external monitor to ensure that this is actually the case. In the case that the line appears on the external monitor it could be a graphics chip issue which would mean a logicboard replacement or maybe a graphics chip “reflow”....
