Chosen Solution I did the in and out of the headphone jack and now somehow my ipod just keeps on freezing and won’t let me do anything to it. I can’t even use the touch screen. I held the power on/off button and the reset (the round one on the bottom) for a few seconds and the ipod went off. Chosen Solution The screen didn’t get any hit Try taking the phone apart, before you undo the crews turn the phone off (THIS IS IMPORTANT, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY) before you rip the screen off there should be some ribbon cables, mark where they are and use a flathead screwdriver to pop them off (BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) then use a clean brush and clean both the phone connection points and the connectors on the cables replace the screen and turn it on, if the problem persists try buying a new screen from ifixit
Chosen Solution When I plug it in the back of the phone, specifically at the camera, seems to heat up. Any ideas? Sounds like one of the replacement parts you installed is defective. You could try to install your original screen to see if the problem persists. If it doesn’t, then you replacement screen is bad. You could also disconnect or remove the replacement camera to see if that solves the issue....

Chosen Solution Hello to all !! My iphone is dropped into fresh water and now no longer lights. I removed all the shield of the motherboard and made cleaning with isopropyl alcohol. Looking under the microscope, I found this component oxide (resistance) L1503 which is part of the VCC MAIN. Could this be the problem? Chosen Solution Hello! I bought about 30 Toshiba Tecra M2s from a recycler, and while they are nice little machines, a few of them have BIOS passwords in place that prevent them from booting at all. They simply ask for a password when you power them on. BIOS password removal tools do not work because the password prompt appears before the machine even attempts to boot from CD, etc. I’ve tried removing the battery for 5 minutes, and several other forms of magic suggested by random pages when I Googled the issue....

When you boot up your laptop, it should say something like this at the bottom: “Press F– to access the BIOS”. Press that key. You may have to try this more than once. Best Regards @eisaalkalbani there are to many different IC’s to just randomly replace those. I would suggest that you start with a new battery. That will give you a known-good starting point for further troubleshooting....

I’m feeling like I don’t have the right tools. Basically, I never tried to solder anything, because I just can’t desolder those ports. I don’t have flux. Chosen Solution So i was working one day at the fuel pits and my phone fell into a bucket full of fuel. I quickly grabbed it, wipped my phone off and shut it off due to fear of explosion. I turned it on the next day and phone works perfectly fine but the screen is dark and you can still see the fuel underneath the screen. Nothing was damaged suprisingly. Im just wondering how would i get the fuel out!...

But after a while of that the lower half stayed like that. And one time after a while of not using it I turned it on and the lower half was fully recovered again. But if I moved it it went away and it didn’t show fully again....
