Chosen Solution i have a circuit that have a polester capacitor and i thing it has a short so how can i test it ? @jadoo it will help if you tell us what make and model your TV is and why do you think the capacitor is shorted. Unless you have an ESR and capacitance tester there is no other way to check the capacitor. Post some images of what you see with your question, so we can see it as well....
Chosen Solution They are super tiny Phillips screws. I have a full set of precision screw bits and none of them are small enough. It seems that the Phillips cross in these screws, in addition to being tiny, is very flat. And I can’t find anything that will turn it, and I’m worried about stripping them if I keep trying. Chosen Solution Thunderbolt Display Model A1407. I use this monitor primarily when using a code editor. I noticed that the text on the screen was beginning to look blurry in the middle of the screen. It was not blurry to the edges of the screen. When I cut the power to the monitor, the areas that were blurry had a white hazy/frosty look. After I took the bottom screws out and lifted the screen,I was in the process of removing the metal shield from the battery cable.I used metal tweezers instead of the plastic sponger.Big mistake because I saw a small spark fly. I detached the battery,then held the power button for 30 seconds before reconnecting the battery.(In which the dead battery signal came on the screen)....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, I got an iPhone 7, dead. Upon diagnosis, I found PP1V1 and PP1V1_DDR_PLL lines are shorted. As usual, I used freeze spray. I injected power to PP1V1 line first, the filter FL1501 is the first component to be melted. It suprised me, as filter FL1501 is not possible to be shorted, the filter is not grounded, how can it be shorted? But anyway, I removed filter FL1501, now PP1V1 line is ok, no more shorted....
