Chosen Solution I basically found what I’m assuming is a mac book pro along with a charge in a river with a friend of mine. While the charger itself seems to work fine (little glowing green light comes on), the laptop isn’t responding at all. There is still some water, sand and other “river muck” in the laptop and possibly the charger. We tried the charging thing but nothing happened not even a “frying” problem....

Chosen Solution The tablet fell off a table and now the right hinge is not working right. I am unable to fold back the screen. I looked online and found replacement hinges and it look like it would be easy to get to the hinge connected to the keyboard end. Wondering how to get to the hinge connected to the display end. There is a section at the bottom of the screen half that looks like, if removed, would give access to the hinges....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 6s was previously cracked, but I dropped it again and now my screen is 80% vertical colored lines. The whole thing is unresponsive, do I need to replace the LCD or ? I just don’t want to buy the parts and it still not work. Most likely, it is just the LCD that needs replaced. But you can open it back up, make sure you power phone off and disconnect battery…then reseat the connector to verify it is same or not....
Chosen Solution my task manager says that there is 4 slots and i only see 2. I also see what looks like a 3rd stick under the 2 existing sticks that are made by the same brand ( look at picture) Some for the G75s have additional RAM slots on the bottom of the logic board. We can check is you give us your exact model. Try booting your machine with the tops ones out and see if you still have RAM as it looks like RAM showing thought when have those removed....
Chosen Solution So i was thinking of buying an icloud lock iphone xr and changing the logic board of it.will that make it icloud unlocked? The iCloud is tied to numerous chips on the logic board it is not tied to the screen or housing. If you buy an icloud locked phone and a spare icloud unlocked motherboard and swap the 2 motherboards you will get a working phone. However, it’s not cost efficient....

From some images found on google, the airport (at least for imac from 2012) is not a standard mpcie port but a smaller one. There are some converter? My aim (if possible) is to connect a egpu through mpcie. thanks all I’m not sure I follow your logic here. If you want to push another screen with its own GPU you don’t need to go this route....
Chosen Solution Hi all, I have an early 2013 retina Macbook Pro that’s stumped three rounds of apple geniuses. Symptoms: No display 75% of the time. I can hear the start chime, but no screen or back light. Occasionally I’ll get the login page, but the screen will go black as it loads after login. I can consistently get to the diagnostics by holding command D at startup. Standard and extended diagnostics run and come back clean....

First of all I noticed that the “Alt Sound Option” was only showing Headphones, when none were plugged in. So I replaced the IO board and data flex connecting it to the main board, no change to issue. Then I used a USB drive with a known good copy of OSX on it, no change to issue Next I replaced the logic board, no change to issue....

This all went without problems, but when I tried to install everything back, I had problem with installing the ribbon cable of the LCD. As you can see on the photo, the white stripe on the cable is not pushed in enough to work. At the touch cables the white stripe isn’t visible, because this one is fitted well....

When I installed the battery it worked fine while it was still open, but i left it like that for a while since I got busy with work. For about a week, it was not on. Then, when I got back to it I turned it on but it only had 1% left so I turned it off shortly thereafter....

L19 coil has a little water damage, the pin 1 of L19 probably short to the gnd through the metal plate. But he seems no dead, how can I test it properly? And are there any other parts to test in this area of the logicboard known for display issues?...
Chosen Solution After my battery has been very weak for a while, my iphone 6s screen went black one day so I replaced the battery, but with no success. I went on to install a display replacement too, but still nothing. I also tried this thing I read about - unplugging the battery connector, pressing the lock/on and off button for 20 sec. and reconnecting the battery after as well as pressing the lock/on and off button again so it starts up ....

Chosen Solution When I reassembled it I accidentally tore off one of the two wires from the left vibrator (with 3 blades). Since I don’t have any soldering tools I decided to assemble it all the way to test if I managed to fix it (the left joystick was dragging left). Besides the fact that only the right vibrator (with 1 blade) works, gyroscope typing also stopped working. I was wondering if it’s using the vibrator or if I broke something else....
