Chosen Solution mute button does not work, nore can i hear callers on the line, is the problem linked,how do i fix this possibly..it could be that your headphone jack is damaged and so it’s tricking the phone into only having sound output via headphone and not earpiece. you could try inserting and taking out headphones pretty quickly a few times, or cleaning inside the jack with a cottonbud. see if the loudspeaker works (speakerphone) if the above measures haven’t worked then you’ll need to replace the headphone jack (mute/power/volume) iPhone 3GS Headphone Jack Replacement
Chosen Solution My charger wire seems to have gotten weaker to the point it only works when i bend it side to side. And the power gets on and off when it’s bend. Each time i charged it has gotten worse and now it almost doesn’t work. Should i buy a new one? or can i fix it on my own? If you are going to repair it, you may be able to splice the cord back together....

Chosen Solution i took apart my iphone 3gs replaced the vibrator but when i use vibrate it wont work. however when i squeeze the sided of my iphone hard it works. whats wrong? The contacts on the vibrator motor or the logic board are probably dirty or not completely touching. Open up your iPhone again, clean the contacts with a dry cotton swab, and try again. Cheers.

Chosen Solution This is a very strange problem. When the cord comes out of magnetic charging part on the macbook it stops charging like normal. The problem is when I reconnect it does not continue to charge. To get it to recharge I have to remove the battery then plug it back in then the green light will come back on to recharge. Then I can put the battery back in and it will work until the cord gets pulled off or unplug it....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone not too long ago. Now when I try to swipe to my camera from a lock screen I get zero response. Swiping works in all other situations… except sometimes I have to swipe flatter or harder to get a response. Chosen Solution I tried following the repair procedure in the chilton’s repair manual but now the engine has a distinct ticking sound coming from the engine valve cover area that I did notice before.
