Chosen Solution I fitted new iFixIt batteries to two of our iPhone 6’s. Everything has been fine until today when I noticed that my iPhone wasnt charging when plugged in. I would see the battery charging symbol and my PC would give the tone to say it was connected, but it just didnt charge. I watched it slowly drop down to 3% (even whilst plugged in!) and then decided to switch off, checked the lightening socket was clean and checked the cable (used the other iPhone and it worked perfectly)....

Chosen Solution Hi all, My iPhone 7 has been intermittently getting stuck in a boot loop. The only way I can stop it is by putting my thumbs to the left and right of the home button and giving it a firm squeeze. I’ve tried a full restore…I’m an IT pro so I’m used to fixing all kinds of computer/phone problems, but I’m simply stumped on this one. Given that I have to squeeze it to fix it, I’m assuming it’s hardware....

Chosen Solution After removing door panel. How do I remove old speaker. And connect new speakers? haleymueck, the speakers are screwed to the door with either 2 or 4 (depending on model) screws. Unscrew those and slightly pull the speaker out of the door. The wires should be connected with some spade connectors. Remove those, but do remember to write down which cable goes on the + of the speaker. Your speaker is most likely has the marks for the polarity by the connectors....

This will take you to the section in the manual which describes the necessary pre-requisite removal instructions and then the procedure on how to remove/replace the fan. Chosen Solution I would like to learn how to replace the lower optical drive in my 2007 MacPro computer. There is a power supply behind the optical drives. Additionally there is a metal bracket with square/retangular cutout in front between the door and the optical drive. I don’t want to start pulling without specific knowledge to avoid damaging components (ask if you don’t know with electronics rule). I have seen some demos for the older PowerMacs but the configuration of the parts is clearly different....

Chosen Solution How to repair stuck key in built-in keyboard? Often something has spilled into the keyboard. Pull the battery & disconnect the power. Then use some distilled water to wash down the keys use some can’ed Air to blow off the excess water. Let the system fully dry before powering (a good 24hrs). If that didn’t unstick the key you’ll need to open the system and go deeper in the cleaning....

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore Elite HE3t front load washer that’s giving me an F20 error code. I have replaced the flowmeter, inlet valve and pressure switch and am still getting the code. I have blown through the pressure switch tube and my water pressure is fine. I am using standard hoses. I am at a loss for what to try next. @dilligaff F20 means that you have a water fill problem on the washer....

Chosen Solution I accidently diconnected the lid board, how do i fix it? Hi Jughead, It seems pretty definite that the part will have to be soldered back on; the good news is from what I can tell the circuit board traces are intact so fixing it won’t require adding jumper wires or reconnecting broken traces. However, you’re not going to be able to solder it back on the way it is; that small board that came off (the “lid board” as you call it) will get in the way of trying to get a soldering iron on the pins....

Hi @ramonb, Is the tablet’s charging indicator light red, orange or green when you connect the charger to the tablet’s USB port? If it is red or orange allow the tablet to fully charge (light turns green) and then try to turn on the tablet with the charger still connected. If it turns on with the charger connected, the battery may be failing and will need to be replaced....

Chosen Solution I repaired the screen on a iPad Pro 9.7 for a customer “have been repairing iPads for over 6 years” but my first iPad Pro. It worked fine after the repair, then came back a couple days later stuck on the battery screen, it recognises the charger then just stays charging but never boots, it’s pulling between 0.15A and 0.40A depending if the screen is turned on. The battery is reading 3....

If you bought it from ebay, payed it with paypal, you can get a refund if the seller did not tell you it was locked. Try contacting the seller to see if they can provide the apple id password to deactivate the icloud lock. Most likely the phone was lost or stolen and resold so now you are stuck with a brick....

Chosen Solution Ok, so recently I got this lot of iPhones off of ebay. And one of the iPhones, turns on immediately when i plug it in, and its stuck in a bootloop. Have tried a restore and got stuck at ‘waiting for iPhone’ I have also tried DFU mode as well. Do you think a dead battery could be the problem? When I unplug it the phone turns off. I do not want to get the battery and find out something else is the problem and waste money unless other people think it’s the same reason, because I am new at repair… Help Please?...
