Chosen Solution hello, 1st timer here in forum. i recently bought a new iphone 12 pro max. and I though i should install a camera lens protector. they only have the round ones. after letting them installed it for me, when i went home i noticed the ghost round thing on the phone when i use the camera. I just turned on this new phone when i got home for the first time so i have no idea if its the iphone camera or the lens protector....

Chosen Solution so i bought a used/ broken iphone 5c from my friend he said that the last time he had it he dropped it and it turn off and now it does not turn on or even charge. so i bought it off him and he said it will just need a screen replacement which i did, i bought a new screen off amazon, fitted it and now i pluged it in and tryed to power it on still nothing a black screen not even a vibrate when charging/ so i was wondering what should i replace next the battery or something....

Chosen Solution So I snapped my Micro Sd by accident which contained one of a kind Files… which are very important to me, I was wondering if it can be fixed, No camera at mo so i edited a picture to show whats snapped. The bottom picture shows the yellow bit snapped and the red bit is is missing , So i have the main part but that small bit is missed/snapped...

Chosen Solution There has never been a password seto n this unit. I want to chagne the boot up process and I am being asked for a bios password. None of the defaults are working. There is a coin batter y inside the tough book. remove this and hold the power button in for 60 seconds to discharge the capacitors, the cmos memory should be cleared. Update remove the RTC battery and the main battery, then unplug you computer and depress the power button for 30-60 seconds this should reset the cmos there are also posts locates at ic 61, 63 shorting these will perform a cmos reset as well....

Chosen Solution Digimon toy from 2002, its known as a digivice/ D-Tector. (Its a D-Tector version 2) It had two lines of dead pixels when it worked, when I opened the inside of the toy, I was as a careful as I could be, when two wires (black & red small ones) got separated (Must have not been careful enough). Using electrical tape I put the wires back but it wouldn’t work, so I think I need new ones all together....

Micheal is correct in his advice to monitor your usage but there are other reasons for a machine slowing down other than ram ....

Chosen Solution I have a Logic Board with exposed pins where the internal DisplayPort connector should be. The female connector ripped off and bent some of the pins. When I attempted to bend the pins back and reattach the connector, one of the pins broke off: If I had a replacement header pin, I should be able to solder it onto the empty pad and reattach the connector. Anybody have an idea where I can get suitable pins?...

Chosen Solution I purchased 2 8GB RAM modules and 1 TB SSD to upgrade my extremely slow base model 2017 iMac. I followed the instructions meticulously, took me about 4-5 hours from start to finish and now the thing won’t turn on at all! Where do I even start trying to troubleshoot the problem? Chosen Solution I followed the instructions for replacing the display assembly, but found out that the indicated cable for the battery was the display cable. When I was reassembling it, there was that little pop and ozone we don’t want to smell. I can’t get it to power on now. I’ve tried reseating the battery and display cables, but it still won’t come up. No indicator lights, no beeps, no fans....

Chosen Solution The Apple store has already tried swapping the inverter to no avail, so I’m probably in the market for a new LCD, BUT it’s an intermittent problem - increasingly often I’ll get no backlight on the LCD, though I can still see the desktop. When I run it through an external monitor, the LCD also comes back to life, so it’s obviously not a complete failure. Is it most likely the LCD panel?...

Although I have repaired only few iPad Air 2s (They are not too common in this area), I always see at the bottom left on the old screen an adhesive holding two, four gold “pins” together. You can remove the top partner of this part and place it on the new screen....

Chosen Solution Okay so my iPhone 5c touch started acting up a few weeks back, it would stop working for a few moments, you lock it wait a minute and it would suddenly work again. Fast forward a few days I updated the software and shortly after the touch screen became 100% unresponsive. I’ve done all the “reset, restore” instructions I could find and nothing helped, I thought maybe I needed a new screen so I ordered a new display kit online....

Chosen Solution My son was chewing on my phone and the speaker was real quiet afterwards. I purchased the iFixit earpiece speaker replacement and installed but nothing changed. Not sure what else it could be, don’t want to purchase a 100$ display only to have that not fix the issue either. And of course since I’ve already opened it Apple sent it back to me :D Any ideas? Check the earpiece filter which is on the screen for blockage and the front camera assembly ribbon cable for any signs of corrosion, liquid damage or burn marks....

Chosen Solution Hello. My iPhone 7 only plays music out of the speaker when I plug in my headphones. It plays music normally when there are no earphones plugged in. Also, when I call someone I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me. On a phone call, the speaker button is dulled out, so I cannot click it. I’ve tried different earphones, cleaning the earphone socket out, and restarting my phone, and nothing works....

Chosen Solution My gears slip as I’m going through them due to my cable stretching. This primarily results in not having a full selection and derailed requires adjusting. The derailleur will move just as far as the shifter tells it to. But the shifting system is a system, and it all works together. If your cable outer housing has a kink in it, it makes it harder to shift. If your chain is worn or your cogset is worn, that can lead to skipping....

Chosen Solution how do you replace the video adapter cable on LCD screen . mine is danged but i cant find any info online on how to replace it . @donniedanko the part you would need is called a LVDS cable and yours should be Asus part number 14005-00890600 This video will at least get you into your laptop to get you to disconnect the wire on the motherboard. After that it gets a bit tougher since we don’t see what your LCD display cover etc....
