I realize that I can replace the i/o board, but I would rather learn how to repair it if possible. Has anyone fixed one? Any thoughts on what might be damaged? Chosen Solution My mid-2009 2.26 GHz A1342 MacBook Unibody (White) is suffering from dead (right speaker) and/or blown (rear and left) speakers. i have the replacement parts coming in, and am “reasonably” hopeful that i can replace the rear speaker following the iFixit guide. However, i cannot find any reference for the right and left speakers on iFixit, youtube, or anywhere else (there is a 2008 MacBook speaker replacement on youtube, but iʻm pretty sure it is irrelevant)....

For now you want to stop continuing to try to charge, sync or otherwise use your phone. This potentially can make a bad situation worse as this may further damage your phone. It looks like they where designed specifically for turtle beach headsets. Chosen Solution I had posted a problem about this before…. and proclaimed my victory after a tune up…….. then back to the same issues the next day. SO, i have replaced the idle position sensor. Cleaned the throttle body but not off the intake clean, but cleaned it. also the tune up mentioned above. and no codes, computer isn’t throwing back any codes not sure if computer keeps track of this....

Chosen Solution I replaced the WiFi antenna but it doesnt work. Do I need to insert all screws/brackets in order to get the WiFi antenna working properly? It did Work unil I inserted all screws back in and then the WiFi was greyed out again.. I tried it with multiple WiFi antenna’s and tried to restore the device but nothing works. Chosen Solution Whenever I install Windows 95 and run it for the first time on my old pentium it gives me a Windows protection error. I have tried to boot into safe mode and it boots just fine. Any fixes? I’m not sure if this will help but I have run win95 on a VM and got the same error my solution was to limit the ram to 256mb win95 doesn’t cache more than 256mb....

Chosen Solution On my Apple wireless keyboard, the “Enter/Return” button randomly stopped working. Is there any way to repair the key? I would see if a cotton swab that is just moist (not dripping wet) with 85% isopropyl alcohol can clean the crud around the key as it just could be getting stuck. You may need to go a bit deeper here by carefully lift the keycap to get under the key to do additional cleaning as gunk could be effecting the scissor mechanism as well underneath....
Chosen Solution So I’ve been looking for a software solution to an issue with garbage colours appearing on my display when it comes back from sleep. A few minutes ago I realized that it actually happens based on the angle the lid is open (pretty much 100% when 90 degrees, it goes away as it is opened more or less from there, garbage colours get mixed in especially against black and grey,) so I expect the problem is a loose or damaged cable connecting the display to the logic board....
