Chosen Solution I opened my laptop to clean dust out and while prying the keyboard open two of the three ribbon cables came undone on their own. I’ve fixed one (the skinny one on the right when you’re facing the screen) but the one leading to the touchpad (skinny white one on the left) possibly broke? The end connected to the motherboard with a snap in latch is still attached, it’s the other end that attaches to the touchpad may be broken (there’s no way to snap it in - did I break that?...

Chosen Solution My UI system has stopped working and wondering how to get it restarted? Hi, On the back of the tablet there is a paper clip sized hole marked “reset”. Gently insert a paper clip into the hole. You will feel like you are pushing a button. Hold it down for a few moments, then withdraw the paper clip and restart your tablet.

Chosen Solution I changed distributor on my 96 Cherokee put back just like supposed to and now it won’t start what do I do acts like it’s not fireing This is an excellent video to show how to put it in You probably havent got the timing just right . Hope this helps

Chosen Solution I’ve tested the coil it’s good and there’s power to the distributor but it doesn’t get spark to the plugs The Plug wires all seem fine. In the distributor there’s a few things I’m not familiar with there appears to be a ring with 8 triangular points and a couple of plastic pieces that have wires running through them . I restore cars and am familiar with points and condensers and also with newer coil packs but I’m not up on the 70’s ignition systems ....

Chosen Solution I used the Epson iprint app from my Android to update the firmware 24 hours ago. Since then the printer lcdscreen has been froze/stuck “UPDATING FIRMWARE DO NOT POWER OFF IT IS TURNED OFF AND ON AUTOMATICALLY WHEN UPDATE IS COMPLETE.” The status says the server is disconnected & photo paper is disabled. What do I need to? Hi @angelasslove , Don’t know if this will work , but try to downgrade (or restore) the firmware in the printer back to what it was before you tried to upgrade the firmware....

Chosen Solution Hi, My iMac was in sleep mode, when i moved my wireless mouse to wake it… the computer made a loud “pop” and shut off… I tried turning it on, but nothing. I tried diffrent outlets and still nothing. Someone suggested i open it up and check the Capacitors… I did, but they look fine. The ones on the power supply look fine as well. It has no warranty anymore, it’s why I decided to open it up....

Chosen Solution Can I replace the ion screen on an apple series 2 iwatch with the sapphire version? The original watch had the ion screen on it. You may want to rethink this! While it’s technically possible you will loose the water tightness a factory installed screen has. You will also have less visibility to the screen as Sapphire is not as transparent as the Ion glass screen. Lastly, while the Ion glass can scratch a bit more easily, the Sapphire can fracture if struct with a sharp object (brittle) unlike the Ion glass....

Chosen Solution Hi All, A couple of weeks ago i replaced the screen on an iPhone 6, when i got it back together i found the home button was unresponsive. I thought may have damaged the ribbon cable so ordered a new one along with a new home button just in case. On fitting the new cable to the phone i found i couldn’t get the phone to turn on and only disconnecting and reconnecting the battery after refitting the original cable got the phone powered up again....

These things are tricky, cause you don’t want to break the display, while replacing the charger port. Chosen Solution Phone works in 3g, but does not pick up any 2g reception. Anytime I am out of 3g range it gets no reception. If I switch to 2g mode (to save battery) it goes to one bar then searching… Switched antenna (full dock) still no 2g reception. Any help? Vibhor/Anyone else that may be looking at this. If you have ATT, I believe they have recently started shutting down the 2G network (at least in the US)....

Is the iphone able to turn on without a battery or show signs that the battery is dead? Like how with one of my previous iphones it turned on with me just plugging it in and it was because the battery was dead....

Chosen Solution My friend’s mom slammed my friend’s phone on the ground because she got mad, and she gave it to me to fix. I opened it and reconnected the battery and lcd connections, but nothing happened when trying to turn on. It also isn’t recognized by iTunes, while my other iPhone is by the same cord. Any help is appreciated!!! P.S. - The screen isn’t cracked at all There’s a good chance that the logic board was damaged....

I would try to check to see if your phone has output on your headphone jack. If so you want to make sure that the jack is not stuck. Move a headphone connector in and out of the jack a couple of time to see if that will restore the sound....

Chosen Solution How to avoid Yellow pressure marks on Loca Glass only Repairs??? After the glass only repair I get a yellow line around the edge of the screen, usually if I press down on the screen it will appear to disappear so I’m assuming its pressure on the LCD. I have tried different cure times on the UV and 2 different lights. On is a 2 foot blacklight and one is fraud note checker you get in shops....
