Chosen Solution I replaced the screen, but, I cannot get the last part of the screen pushed down–the part near the home button. I don’t want to force it. Is the frame bent in any way in the corners? I was able to get it to fix by inserting the top part first, then slightly bowing the screen to get the bottom inserted. I then pressed the remainder, middle part of the screen, down into the clips....

Karol Varga since you can see your screen with a flashlight you already know that this is a backlight issue. It can be that your power board does not generate the voltages needed for your lights to turn on or that the backlight array inside the panel have failed....

Chosen Solution Have a 27” Mid 2011 iMac in for repair. Customer asked to have it pimped out with an upgraded graphics card, RAM, SSDs etc. Did the work and put it together. Powered it up and was working fine. Issue is that it will give a short fan spin with one LED lit and not start unless the power has been unplugged for a number of hours. I reduced the iMac down to minimal config (everything non essential disconnected) and found that it will power on fine with the LCD disconnected....

The phone has the original screen on it and just randomly stop responding to touch. IF you do the soft reset (power + home button) it will work for about 10-30 minutes and freeze again. The other repair shops called me and let me know they tried multiple screens and it still froze up....

I was able to desolder the baseband and clean the main board from the remaining glue. Many solder pads have been removed, but these are NC fields.
