Chosen Solution The iPhone 5S gets message “iPhone’ could not be restored. an unknown error occurred -1” when trying to restore, it goes to itunes mode when trying to start. tried diffrent battery no change, tried downloading frimeware and installing in dfu mode but no change. No sign of water damage. Any idéas? iTunes restore error -1 usually means the baseband chip needs to be removed, reballed, have jumper wires attached for points where the solder connection would be weak....

You either, damaged the phone, and now the prox sensor won’t work properly. Or, you replaced the screen, and damaged the prox sensor. This is my advice. First step. Restart the phone. Chosen Solution Hello! So my iPhone 6 had numerous issues (cracked screen, wear out battery, lighting connector made poor contact) so I decided to replace all three of these components. I ordered from iFixit the Front Panel Assembly, a Battery and the Lighting Connector replacement parts. After careful work and by following the guides to the letter, the iPhone won’t turn on, or at least that’s the impression. The screen is black and iTunes doesn’t recognises anything....

Chosen Solution To whomever might be willing to help, I noticed significant battery drain and purchased a new battery. I have 2 of these devices and have replaced the battery in the other with no problems. When I detached the cable from the old battery I noticed a black piece from the device (where the battery connects to the pins) broke/chipped off. After installing the new battery and plugging it in to charge the device turns on, flickers a few times and turn off....

Chosen Solution I was looking for parts for my phone and I can’t find them with the same model number as my phone. I figured that the problem is that of have a cspire s6edge. I’m looking for a screen for the front, the back,the home button, the rear camera cover, and possibly the metal frame of the phone. If the parts listed on this website is compatable then I can see how much it would cost and if I want to replace them or just wait to upgrade to another phone....

I would assume I need a new battery because it turns off right after it’s unplugged, but is there any way to know for sure? Thanks! Sounds like a bad battery, Just replace your battery and check. If that doesn’t fix it bring it in to a reputed micro-soldering company for them to take a look at it....

Chosen Solution Hi, my iPad Pro 1st Gen works perfectly fine while having over 80% battery. Under 80% though it often crashes and even while plugged into a power source, it wont recover. Under 50% it wont even launch the home screen, laggs etc. Should I try to replace the battery or is the problem logic board related? Thanks for answering! Hard to say if it’s logic board related without opening up the iPad and troubleshooting....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced my iPhone 6 panel and after replacing My WiFi gets connected only when standing close to router. If I move like 5m away it gets disconnected. Then suddenly after i assembled all the parts back togetheri realized that i forgot to change the home button. But the device was running fine (except from a missing home button) I repeated every step and transfered the old home button to the new screen....
