I would rather ADD this as well as the 1Tb HDD (to use as an archive) rather than remove it and leave only a 500Gb drive. I have looked through this site and don’t seem to find this exact scenario. Chosen Solution Hi, it’s possible to change HDD with SSD on iMac with fusion drive? A fusion drive is not one device it is made up of two drives the primary SATA HDD and a small blade SSD which is used as the cache drive to the HDD. Basically, both available ports on your logic board are used. Apple placed the blade SSD on the back side of the logic board so its well hidden unlike the visible HDD....

The battery communicates with Systems Management Computer (SMC) logic and then SMC talks to the systems OS. So the SMC services isolate the battery from the OS so the OS has no knowledge of the battery directly....

Chosen Solution I ordered a replacement screen for iphone 5s; upon opening the home button was not attached by a cable and the construction looks different from guide. Photo attached showing the partially disassembled phone on the left and the 5S replacement screen on the right. The construction appears to be different. There is a metal plate covering the battery etc in the disassembled phone that appears to be part of the replacement screen....

Chosen Solution None of the cameras seem to work, both showing a black screen. Hard reset, iOS update or replacing the cameras with the new ones didn’t help the case aswell. The indicators inside the phone shows that it is indeed water damaged. All the other functions works flawlessly. Anything else i can try out in order to fixing these? Thanks alot! Chosen Solution So a lady gave me an iPhone 6 that wont turn on. She said it had low battery so she charged with an iPad charger and left it overnight, however, when she tried to turn it on, it could’nt. I have tried the basic toubleshootings like, holding the power and homebutton and I have changed the dockconnector and the battery, but still no luck. Chosen Solution I went ahead and bought the precision screw extractors to remove the two pentalobe screws from the bottom of my phone. They’ve stripped pretty badly. The problem is, I have no idea how to use them. I can’t find anything related to this kind of extractor on the web. I think you are meant to hit a hammer on the top of it, but it doesnt seem to do anything....

It cannot get past the activation screen because it will tell you to insert a SIM card. I also got a new sim reader and a battery. See if you can get the PCB for that same drive. Sometimes you can get those from ebay.com and even other sources. You may have to do a comprehensive search based on the model number of your drive....

Chosen Solution I recently got a ds lite that had a few light scratches on the shell. Is there an easy way to get rid of these scratches? I saw some sources recommend toothpaste but I’m skeptical about using it. Or is the only way to remove them re-shelling the entire thing? Chosen Solution I stupidly backed up over 300 photos on my Samsung galaxy 4 tablet and now I want to delete them now. It won’t give me that option. How can I delete them? Reset? If you backed them up to a free cloud service such as Google photos, you may want to keep them there so if your tablet breaks beyond repair, you will still have all your photos.
