To try to fix I would use a sharp pointed scalpel and try to cut the superglue. That failing you may have to replace the topcase as the power on button cannot be accessed from the bottom....

I recently bought an iMac (was a bit of low-funds emergency purchase to replace MacBook that died on me) and realised that RAM is not upgradable on 21,5 models and i’m basically stuck with base 8GB. I’m not really hurrying to sell this one and get a better one even though it might be, maybe, an easier option. So i had a thought - in theory, would it be possible to get hands on iMac motherboard for same iMac model as mine, but with more RAM (16) soldered on it and replace mine with that one doing a sort of RAM upgrade by that, or there are some problems this procedure might result in?...
Chosen Solution after a complete disassemble of my iphone 4 due to water/toilet water damage every thing seemed to be clean and dry. As I assembled it back together I turned the phone on before attaching the final rear cover, and it worked just like it was new. As soon as i slid the cover in place the iphone would shut off. I cleaned the back cover and made sure all the components were in place and slid it back together and it seemed to work for a day....

We got a 5S in place of her 5C, but the headset speaker pops and it is next to impossible to make calls with. Seems that when she uses it on “speaker” the mic cuts in and out, but the speaker seems to work....
Chosen Solution i suspect the home button or touchID cables are causing a short. The touchID cable disconnected from the front screen when the screen was opened. Do i need a replacement touchID cable? I have been unable to do any recovery, DFU boot, etc. i let it charge for an hour before beginning troubleshooting. Do you mean that the home button got ripped from the screen? If this is the case then you will need a replacement home button for the home button to work again, note that touch ID will not work as any other home buttons that are used on the iPhone need to be paired up with the logic board again which apple will only do....
Chosen Solution HI, i was given an iPhone 6 for a screen replacement. i was told the touch was not working correctly and we replaced the screen. after that the touch still did not work but i have noticed a bend on the device. i have included pictures. i am thinking possibly touch IC disease and i know it affected iPhone 6 Plus but maybe there are some iPhone 6’s that are affected too....
Chosen Solution IPhone 6s turned off detects Charging while on power does not charge does not detect. I replaced 2 times the u4500 chip with new and jumpered q4500s. After replacing now off, it absorbs 1-1.10 amps better than before it absorbs 30-50 amps .. but it does not want to know how to load. what could I check? Chosen Solution Logic would dictate that increasing the RAM in any Laptop would decrease the battery life. But by how much? If I have a machine with 2 GB and can take it to 8 GB should I? So what is the effect of moving a machine from 2 to 4, 2 to 8 or on the newer machines to 16 GB of RAM? Is there any real research on this or just old wives tales?...

Chosen Solution When we go to apps and click on uninstall it seems to remove them and the memory increases. Then when we shut down and boot up again they all come back and take up memory.
