Chosen Solution Hey all. I replaced the failing battery on my iPhone 6. It went pretty well, but when I tried to turn it on, it displayed the Apple logo for around a second then went black. The backlight was still on though, but after maybe 20 seconds it turns off. Plugging it into a charger has the same behavior. I tried connecting my phone to my Mac and it recognizes it, although it does say that I either need to update or restore....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 has suddenly started shutting down even with 70% battery charge. It displays the Apple icon but will not restart until I connect it to a charger. In a few minutes it restarts itself. Battery was recently checked and is OK I’d still try replacing battery, nobody on earth can tell for sure that the one you have right now is ok and what you experience is coherent with a faulty battery....

Chosen Solution Yesterday at about 2 pm my screen just stopped responding, it randomly starts functioning for a few seconds, then goes back to not working. I don’t think I dropped it because it was working all day yesterday. I’ve soft reset, hard reset, done a DFU restore, nothing has worked. I don’t think I have the “disease” because there’s not grey bar at the top of the screen, the whole screen looks completely fine....

Chosen Solution Hey, If the battery under 25% there’s any change it will explode while replacing it ? Basically I want to know if under 25% there no way it will happen because I tried to replace the battery when I had 40% and it exploded …. The charge level has nothing to do with whether a battery explodes or not. If the last battery you removed exploded, it’s because you punctured it....

Chosen Solution As suggested I tried turning up the brightness and turned off the power saving functions as well as any apps that would affect the brightness. They did not work. I also wiped the tablet to factory and reinstalled my apps, as a new device. That also did not work. The screen flickering never completely goes blank and the lines seem to only go horizontally. I am thinking that there might be a connection that is coming apart inside....

Chosen Solution I am a junior in high school and I have a TI-84 Plus calculator, the screen of which has a few horizontal lines of dead pixels (the bag it was in was damp), but everything else works. I am trying to take the calculator apart in order to fix this problem, but I am unable to take off the foil cover. I have seen and read that there are supposed to be two screws holding the foil cover in place but I don’t see any visible screws....

Chosen Solution ONE OF MY BOSE MODEL 21 SPEAKER HAD A DAMAGED FRONT COVER EXPOSING THE SPEAKER DRIVERS AND ITS CARDBOARD FINISH. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. @dens66 okay that part does not come as a repair part. Looks like the way to fix it would be to buy a couple of blown speakers from online auctions (like ebay etc.) and harvest the speaker enclosure from that one. The other thing you could do is to find a local carpenter who can build you a replacement from either MDF or other materials....

Chosen Solution how do I erase all photos from my memory card? This depends on how seriously you want to erase them. If it’s just that the card is full, having copied all the pictures you want you can either reformat it in the camera (it’ll probably be somewhere under the Settings menu) or you can plug it into a laptop or PC (using a USB card reader if necessary) and simply delete the picture files there....

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 5S. I noticed a faster decrease in battery power. It needs to be charged 3 times a day as compared to my usual once a day while doing the same things on my phone. I changed the battery with an aftermarket one but that didn’t work and fried two charging cables. I have been thinking about the Razer DeathAdder Elite and the Razer Lancehead but i’m not sure if they would be able to run on my laptop....
