Chosen Solution I can’t sync my new Samsung tab A tablet to my older Samsung tablet in order to be able to keep all my pictures etc. For pictures, make sure that you have the “Photos” app installed, (looks like a little multi-colored wind mill) then open it, and go through setup. The photos will automatically back up to there and you can use this app on your new tablet to view them....
Chosen Solution I have an iMac A1224, when it is powered on, the apple boot noise occurs, then a white screen comes onto the monitor. It appears that it sounds like the hard drive is still going, but not everytime. I have reset the RAM, CTRL, ALT p-r does nothing. Unplugged power for a day, still white screen. Is there anything I can do myself? I am a technician and this Mac has been brought into the shop....
Chosen Solution My Seagate IDE hard drive isn’t being recognized by my windows 10 computer. I don’t have a IDE to usb so I can’t hook it up to my Mac. I’ve been trying to retrieve the data off of it for my grandpa but I’m not sure why my computer isn’t recognizing it. It’s windows formatted cause my grandpa was using it with his windows 7 laptop. The hard drive was in an enclosure and I took it out and i don’t have the enclosure anymore....

Check your home owners or if bought on a credit card insurance policy, some time large items are covered from accidents and can be claimed on policy and be repaired/replaced after paying a deductible....

Mary Jane Ragpa, if your only poked through the plastic liner you can patch it with an adhesive or even silicone sealeant. The area needs to be dry to adhere. You don’t want any cold air to contact warm air or you’ll have issues, plus the inside of the walls will start holding moisture from condensation....

Chosen Solution I just completed a repair of my mom’s iPad 4 - The display was cracked so I replaced the digitizer and plastic ring around the outside. Part of the black dust strip was ripped so I peeled some of of it off on the lcd screen itself. Once assembled the display is dimmer down almost half the screen exactly. Is this because the black fabric / foam dust strip is removed or what else might it be?...

It doesn’t and I have tried plugging the iPad into my macbook but it does not recognize that there is anything plugged in. Any suggestion? I would go back through this guide and double check all my steps. The only thing I would do differently from the guide is to disconnect/isolate the battery just before Step 30....

I replaced the battery about a month ago and now all of a sudden my home button does not want to work. Chosen Solution I broke the screen on my iPhone 5 and replaced the screen, as I have successfully done before. When I plugged it in (it had run out of power just before the screen broke) I see the graphic showing an empty battery (red on one end) and a charger plug being inserted, which is what I’ve seen when it’s charging but doesn’t have enough charge yet to start up....

It’s not getting abnormally hot anywhere. Where is the best place to look? Finding shorts (the cause of the short at least) can sometimes be like needle in haystack. Chosen Solution The back light of the LCD display has burned-out. Otherwise the radio works fine. How do I remove the radio without marking-up the console? Where can I find a replacement back light? Do I have to take the car to a GM dealer to power-up the fixed radio? There is a forum for Pontiac Grand Ams (www.gaownersclub.com/forum) which may have some helpful how-to articles. As for replacing the back light, you might be able to find an entire factory radio replacement on Ebay or at a site like sonicelectronix....

Chosen Solution water is leaking out of bottom of washing machine. i have it on blocks off the floor to see where it is leaking. dont know how cover comes off. ray, to remove the bottom front access panel just remove the 3 Torx screws on front bottom of machine. Chosen Solution I need to unlock a BIOS password on Dell Precision M65 laptop. The model # on the bottom is PP04X, the Service Tag is JY7NLB1 and the Express Service Code 43427572381. It will not even let you go to BIOS without the password, states that the computer system #JY7NLB1-595B is locked and it will not allow access to anything without the password. I have been browsing and have seen some suggestions about a jumper that is used on some models to reset or remove this password but I have yet to find it....
