Chosen Solution A few months back I bought an iphone 8 plus that was very damaged, it had been run over. Owner decided to just sell it as he’d gotten a new one. Battery had expanded so that was removed. I havent touched it in months, but I suspect the logic board is dead, is there any way to know for sure before I find another one? I have a new screen and battery, doesnt show any signs of powering up....
Chosen Solution I own a Skullcandy Skullcrushers head phone that has recently had problems with the jack of the unit. The issue is where only the left ear speaker functions properly at all times while the right is silent unless the wire on the jack is moved to a “Sweet Spot” where functionality returns until the wire is moved from the new position. My question is weather or not it is possible to fix or if not, replace the jack all together....

Chosen Solution I have got notification for soft wear update and I have allowed to update. After that my iMac is not opening. Message is showing as follows “macOS could not be installed on your computer. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.” Now how can I quite the installers? You should have the possibility to close it from the menu bar but since something went probably bad during install it might be the menubar is not there ?...
Chosen Solution I cloned the old hard drive after placing it in a case and using it as an external drive…..so that I could increase to a 1T storage space, but I have not been able to boot from the new cloned drive…it was reformatted and partitioned according to CCC instructions. Now, I want to reformat/erase the drive, but I can’t get it to erase/unmount, or anything. Can you help?? Update (06/27/2017) The Macbook Pro is mid 2009, I can’t find a model # in About this Mac The Hard drive is HGST 1T, I did try to erase it in disk utility, it said not successful....
Chosen Solution The DVD loader won’t open.What should I do? nzziino, Unplug to reset and try, if no go unplug device and take the outer cover off the unit and reseat the disc in the tray or see what is jamming it. The worst thing you can do is try charging the device or powering it on. You will need to disassemble the device as much as you can, and clean everything with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, and a toothbrush, this is a DIY repair. If you’re not comfortable with taking it apart, take it to a shop that deals in liquid damage repair, they should use a ultrasonic cleaner to clean up liquid damaged logic boards etc....

Chosen Solution I had a non working ps4 and a working one - on the non working it just shut down after one sec (I know it means that the apu is not connected/working, by tightening the screws with washers I may fix it… but I couldnt do it cuase it was stripped) As I said, I stripped the screws cause I was dumb, but I wanted to check if the console is working so I used the screws from the working ps4 and now both of them are not working I will try to tighten it better (not sure I did it enough) Can anyone please help me?...

Chosen Solution I opened up my Wii U system because it was intermittently not reading discs. I cleaned the laser with 91% ISO and now the system “sees” the disc, but after spinning the disc for 5+ seconds, it says “invalid disc.” Tried with multiple known working games. Any ideas? @jcloud15, Yes, you will have to swap the drive’s logic board, as it is paired to the system’s motherboard. Chosen Solution History. MacBook Pro acquired with fault, flashing folder on boot up - will only boot from original 500MB hard drive in external caddy via USB. When connected to internal SATA cable HDD is not detected by OS. Action. Purchase logic board to SATA HDD cable twice - neither of which made any difference. Purchase SATA 3 120GB SSD, install as primary drive - not detected. Clone new SSD into boot disk put in USB caddy - OS detects external SSD and boots up....
Chosen Solution A friend asked me to look at this iPad after he tried a digitizer replacement and it failed to charge afterwards. Already tried new battery. My first thought was the battery connector pins but they look perfect. Second thought was a knocked off component near the connectors, but everything is intact. Can’t think of much else that can go wrong during a screen job… It is recognized by itunes but will randomly disconnects and reconnect every once in a while....

When i open it i remove cables 1,2,3 and 4 but didnt pay atention on cable 3 lock but it slide easy even without unlocking it. i clean dust from inside and dock connector from outside....

Chosen Solution Battery was connected during replacement. One connector cable for the screen unplugged before I tried turning the phone back on. Display did not turn on. Phone got warm. Later I disconnected the cables. Later I disconnected the battery. I waited then reconnected the battery and then the screen cables and it got warm. I tired to turn the phone on/off. The screen did not turn on. The phone doesn’t respond to itunes or and the screen does not turn on for charging....
