To this day I haven’t managed to damage it further, but I am unable to find a service center that will fix the backlight. The backlight still turns on and off, but at a very limited range of brightness, as well as uneven lighting across the keyboard, with certain keys being stuck on maximum brightness....

Apple over the years has used a few different ways of getting that needed input by either applying a thermal sensor on the external can of the drive, leveraging the burn-in sensor the HD makers started putting into the drives, and lastly then getting them to allow Apple access to them via custom firmware....
Chosen Solution Replaced digitizer for ipad mini, before installing new digitizer I tested it, turned on the mini and says try again in 24.9 mill minutes. I disconnected the battery before disconnecting lcd and digitizer. I tested the old digitizer as well and shows me still try again on 24.9 mill minutes. Why does it do that? mrbuiucli sounds like to many incorrect attempts were made to enter the passcode. Possibly due to the broken digitizer....

According to schematics part numbers are different but I am not sure if the specs are different as well? Part number iPhone 5c: NSR0620P2XXG Part number iPhine 6: NSR0530P2T5G The reverse voltage spec is different between the two. The first diode is a 20V diode and the second is a 30V diode....
Chosen Solution Hi guys, I have an iPhone 6 here. No water damage. When power on, no display, no backlight. After I opened the phone, I found the display IC U1501 is extremely hot, so I replaced that U1501 with a new one. However, problem remains the same, no image, the new U1501 is still very hot when power on. I checked every cap In the chestnut line & backlight line, no short found anywhere....

A few days ago, I unplugged it from its charger, used it to the point it needed charging again, plugged it back, then nothing. It wasn’t charging. I did swap chargers/cables, third party, other brands, and of course original Apple, to no avail....

Chosen Solution how to fix lightning port on iPad air 2? My son killed the port probably by pulling at the cord while plugged in. I think you may have to solder on a new port, have you tried another cable? Use your phone or magnifying glass to check for signs of damage inside the port (bent pins, broken part, etc.), if you think it looks ok, remove the screen and check if screws are tight/loose (there are 4 philips screws securing lighting port to the case if I’m not mistaken), your last resort is to replace the port which requires soldering....

Chosen Solution Even though I only use my LexiBook on rare occasions and for short periods of time it still feels like it is overheating. I would understand this issue more so if I used it more, but it shouldn’t be happening with such limited use. I was curious if I either need to replace the battery or adjust the settings? Overheating tablets can be symptom of many different problems. For a device such as Lexibook Tablet One, which is designed for young children and relatively low use, the likely hood of the settings being a cause for this is unlikely....
