Chosen Solution Hello. I have a late 2009 iMac running Windows 7 via Bootcamp. After running perfect for several years, I turned it on this morning and am receiving a black screen. Restart the iMac and then I might get a white screen - regardless it is not booting up in either the Mac side, nor the Windows side. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Chosen Solution So I recently bought a new battery for my iPhone 3GS claiming to be a 1600 mah battery. However, when I installed it into my phone it was stuck at 69% so I tried to charge it to 100% to calibrate the battery. But it stayed at 69% I played a 10 hour long video till it finally died (oddly enough still saying 69%). So I charged it again but it was at 1% with the little outlet logo instead of the lighting bolt logo....
Chosen Solution I turned off my phone and went to turn it back on and it wont it shows the apple logo and then it goes black Its not stuck in a loop it just goes back off and stays off until i try to turn it on again I tried holding the power button and home screen at the same and nothing I took my phone in and they did a free diagnostic test and said the firmware/software is fine and the battery is also fine He said he could try to update it and see if it that works and it wont erase anything on my phone i however have to wait till the end of the month for my check to come in i was just wondering if you guys have had this happen and do you think updating the phone will get it to work?...

I hope you can help me ;) Thanks in advance If you are talking about the top earpiece speaker that is used to hear people during calls then it is either badly mounted or faulty. Replacing it should do the trick if it just suddenly started happening out of nowhere and screen hasn’t been replaced before....

Do not compromise the case seal of the drive, if the drive is exposed to outside ar, it is ruined for good. You are probably going to have to buy a used hard drive with a good cable and exchange it. Hard drives seldom get this type of damage, so a used drive would most likely have a good part....

Chosen Solution First, thanks for the site - bought a Torx set and got the back of the Evo open. My problem has to do with where the power cord - either a wall adapter or car adapter - attaches to Evo. I don’t even know what to call the little piece the adapter slides into. BUT. That particular piece has broken off on my Evo. I can see where it goes, and where the connection points have to meet - but it clearly requires solder to repair....
Chosen Solution It powers on with Apple logo only when you plug into an outlet, won’t power on with computer. When it is on it does turn on completely, but instead reboots with Apple logo and repeats. First thing to try is a battery replacement. However water damage in most cases requires lots of work and suitable professional tools to be taken care of properly. You should take off the logic board, remove EMI shields, decontaminate your board with ultrasonic bath, troubleshoot possible damaged components, solder everything back and reinstall the logic board checking that all the rest of components work as they should....

Chosen Solution I replaced the digitizer on my iPad 5 as well as the home button. Prior to the screen replacement, the iPad was perfectly operational, it just had the broken screen. Everything with the replacement went as expected although it was very tedious. I did not manage to get the touch id home button out in one piece so i used the one provided with my digitizer which was already in place....
