Chosen Solution Hi there, I recently purchased a refurbished A1502 and noticed that one of the screws of the heatsink was broken. The shaft is still inside the hole. Is there a safe way of taking it out? The screw is decapitated a little bit deep. Right now, the heatsink of the Mac is working with 3 screws only. Will this affect it motherboard in the future? Chosen Solution Hi, I bought a used 2007 mod. iMac 24" 2.8Ghz. Now I wonder if there is something wrong with the screen. When I start it up I see areas with yellowish discolored areas and I can see icons and some text shining through at the bottom of the screen, but not icons from the dock. When it is up and running, if I change the background to white I can see the discolored areas more clearly....

Chosen Solution I just replaced my logic board in my 27" imac after I broke off the display port connector on my original logic board. It booted the first time I tried, but the fans were on constantly and I forgot to reattach the wifi cable so I took it apart again. Then I booted I without the display installed to see if the fans were running normally. They were so I powered it down by holding down the power button....

Chosen Solution installed a new battery, but it doesn’t display. Shows white battery icon with white X inside on startup, but after login there is no battery icon. Doesn’t even show the battery in coconut battery. Did a SMC reset and P-RAM reset, neither worked. I’ve seen this before, double check the battery connection as sometimes it can be finicky and just need an extra little push or a re-seating, even when it looks and feels good....

Chosen Solution My friend leaves his ipod classic plugged into his stereo in his truck at all times. It has been bumped a few times and the cable no longer makes a good connection all the time. Is there a way to reinforce the port on the logic port so it will not fail? If the cable is loose at the bottom of the iPod, the dock connector, then there is really not a lot that you can do....

Chosen Solution I was replacing a screen on my Macbook (Penryn) and while removing the inverter cable from the motherboard, the socket came off. The plastic was very brittle. Is there any way to solder the socket back on? Currently, I put everything back together (not including the inverter cable socket) and it will not power on. Does the inverter cable need to be plugged into the motherboard in order for the Macbook to power on?...

Chosen Solution I use an iPad mini 2, I can not find any replacer for my digitizer anywhere. Those available are those with one pin connectors, the screen that I am trying to replace has two separate sets of pin connectors. What is the second pin connector for? Chosen Solution Hi there, I’ve had 2 iPhone 6S recently with the exact same problem. When speaking to someone, the microphone sounds very crackly. When they use headphones the sound is clear. I’ve done the basics such as replace the charging port. Clean the bottom speaker holes. I changed the camera up top in case it was the proximity sensor. Has anyone experienced this? Chosen Solution I had an UN65MU6290 for 3 months before 1/3 of the screen became darker than the rest. Now the whole screen is dark but there is power and the sound works. My assumption was an LED strip needed replacing but there are no screws on the back to remove. I was able to pry loose the bezel from the top and sides but the bottom will not budge at all....

Chosen Solution A friend wasted coffee on the keyboard, everything works except the keyboard, wanted to find out the procedure for removing and replacing the keyboard. remove the cover on the bottom (the cover covers the hard drive, the ram and the wifi card). under the cover there are a few screws, remove the screw with a keyboard icon next to it. if there is a nearly square hole with a keyboard icon and an arrow toward the hole next to it, use the back of a pencil to push the back of the hole, the keyboard should pop out....

I want to be sure I understand your question: You want to know if you can burn CDs with a Tiger installer on them, so you can boot from those CDs and install Tiger? In theory you can, if you have disk images of a Tiger installer. Unless you know someone with original Tiger disks on CD-ROM, those disk images may be hard to find....

Chosen Solution This has been a great camera, but I have one problem: the dial no longer works. It will only switch between two modes now, baby and normal. I cannot preview or do anything else with it. Besides this, the camera does anything else fine. I would love to get the dial to give me all of th modes back. Hi there, According to your description : You say it fell but no visible screen damage. Does it charge? if yes, you should see a sign of “charging” on screen. When you turn the device on (by pressing on the power button) you should see a blue (or other color) light on top left and lights on the bottom buttons, if there are those lights but screen is black - the LCD just broke although it seems intact....

Chosen Solution I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker (suz). Vehicle has 90k, ZR2, v6. one owner, maintained. Used it and parked it. Next morning the battery was completely dead (nothing left on).Put my jumper pack on and it turned over well but no start. Run a car shop here so pulled the plugs, grounded them and found no spark.
