Chosen Solution I bought 2 iPads 6. One connected to iTunes, no problem. Second one won’t and I can’t turn it on to restore to factory settings as it keeps asking for iTunes. Any suggestions? If this is a new device, I wouldn’t waste any time trying to figure out the issue; just return it under warranty. If you bought these units used, then it’s hard to tell as the history of the device is unknown....
Chosen Solution I was repairing my computer and in the process, was not as careful as I should’ve been with the wifi connectors on the WLAN card. I broke the gold connector off of the black antenna. I was just wondering if there is any way to replace this antenna or if there is a way to put that gold connector back onto the antenna wire. EDIT: The Black wire is also the the one that is associated with the Bluetooth function of the wifi card....
Chosen Solution I can’t use my microphone to do anything–not even voice text. I don’t see this as an option under settings. If you can talk with phone to your ear, but not in hands-free mode, you may have a defective front mic (it is located under the mesh of the screen where the ear speaker is located too). It can be because the mesh is clogged, but the mic options would be available under settings....

Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone battery with parts bought of Ifixit and as soon as I plugged my battery in my phone was constantly stuck in a boot loop. I restored the phone completely from iTunes and the phone is still in a boot loop and now it has a load bar at the bottom. Once it loads the phone reboots again. Update! Went to sell the phone and the owner of the shop figured out that for some reason the ft camera/speaker was causing the boot loop....

Chosen Solution Please help! I replaced my battery with an iFixit battery today, and put everything back together. I tried turning on the phone, and it didn’t come on, so I assumed it was dead. I plugged the phone in, and it immediately started a bootloop cycle. Turns on, goes to the Apple logo screen, waits 15-20 seconds, turns off for 5 seconds, then back on. It repeats this as long as it is plugged in....

It would stuck on 1% on charger and if disconnected from charger, it would turn off. Anyways, it still could turn on and charge to max 1%. A friends iPhone accidentally got wet on a trip and as I had not the tools to open it and manually clean it I decided to dunk the entire thing in 91% isopropyl alcohol for a minute or two. The touch wasn’t working and the screen had vertical lines of slightly darker pixels. Those issues where fixed after dunking. However, the backlight is now extremely dim and very difficult to see anything....

Once I got the phone resealed, I threw it on the original charger (adaptor and cord, known working) and it started charging right away after performing a hard reset. Take ignition to full on/start position and hold for minimum of 1 minute. Take ignition back to off. However, key will not return to off and will be stuck due to lack of battery power. Chosen Solution I just changed the oil in my 2000 Mazda Protegé. The owner’s manual recommends 2.9 quarts for the 1.6 liter engine. I put in 3 quarts. The ifixit guide recommends 4 quarts. Which amount is correct? sn0man, 3.4 quarts without oil filter replacement and 3.8-4.0 quarts with oil filter replacement. Best thing to do, check your dipstick after you have the minimum amount in it, and ran the engine for a few minutes....

I’d start with changing the BIOS to a different boot order and set it to either optical drive or USB and then insert a bootable disk (or USB drive ) and see if that works. If your BIOS sees the failed drive, you can try and reinstall the OS....

Questions… If you don’t know the exact screw sizes, it’s very easy to strip the heads so I don’t want to guess. Does anyone know the sizes for the 6 screws per side which attach the trackpad to the case? See screws highlighted in yellow ....
